Resproland was proud to sponsor a Construction-Themed Sensory Night with Presbyterian College's OT program. Nearly 50 kids joined us for a fun and inclusive evening of hands-on activities designed to support childhood development through play — all with a construction twist.
Hosted by Presbyterian College's OT Students
The Doctor of Occupational Therapy students at Presbyterian College organized and ran the event. Their thoughtful planning brought to life a series of activities designed to build skills and spark joy.
Featured Activities
- Wiggle Car Obstacle Course – promoting gross motor coordination and balance.
- Hard Hat Decorating – encouraging creativity and personal expression.
- Duck Scavenger Hunt – supporting problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Marshmallow Tower Building – teaching teamwork and spatial reasoning.

Why Sensory Play Matters
Construction-themed sensory activities go beyond fun—they are intentional opportunities for growth.
Skill Development
Each station promoted fine and gross motor skills, social connection, and self-regulation while sparking imagination.
Inclusive Environments
By creating a welcoming space, every child—regardless of need or ability—had the chance to thrive, connect, and celebrate their unique strengths.
Our Commitment to Community
We're honored to support initiatives that strengthen our communities from the ground up. Partnering with Presbyterian College's OT students allows us to be part of meaningful events where kids feel included, supported, and celebrated.
Big thanks to the amazing OT students for letting us be part of something so impactful!
